Lucas Eskin is an award-winning film editor known for his creative contribution to national and international commercials, films and videos. Lucas was a partner and owner of Mad River Post and also edited at the shops Beast and Cut and Run.
Lucas was the lead editor on the 4 year landmark campaign “Get a Mac” also known as Mac vs PC which won many awards as well as being regarded as "..one of the most significant ad campaigns in history." Lucas also edited the UK and the Japanese versions. Lucas has edited commercials for Apple, AT&T, Beats, Burger King, California Lottery, Coca Cola, Coors, Directv, Discovery Channel, Disney, DoorDash, Ebay, ESPN, Facebook, Google, Grubhub, HP, Hulu, Jack in the Box, McDonalds, Microsoft, Miller Lite, Motorola, Nike, Patron, Popeye’s, Samsung, Sony, Taco Bell, T-Mobile, Universal, Verizon, and Wells Fargo, VISA, and the 2028 Olympics. He has edited car commercials for Acura, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen. He has also won awards for his work for National Geographic and St Jude Children’s Hospital. Lucas has edited music videos for The Strokes, Matchbox 20, Straight No Chaser and Home Free. Lucas and editor Doug Walker edited the 2014 American action film, In the Blood, directed by John Stockwell. Lucas uses Avid, Final Cut, Premiere, Resolve and whatever else is necessary to edit a project. Lucas received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the UCLA School of Design. [email protected] |
