AI for Andy
Hi, here are some of the AI things I promised to share.
Here is the 3rd try of the story you told me based on this prompt:
Medium over the shoulder shot of a man in his kitchen in front of his computer at his country home. He is holding his phone to his ear while he is talking on his phone. He says, "No, I want to cancel my subscription and I want a refund. The website says I get a full refund. Is there someone else I can talk to?" While he talks the camera slowly dollies around to reveal his face.

Here was my first try...

He is not talking on his phone, his home is downtown where an office should be, and I didn't like the static camera.
So I added more specific direction to the prompt...

The dolly shot not only spun around him several times but gave him 8 computers. He is still in an office space downtown. So I added the kitchen, the country house and the slow dolly reveal. I felt lucky when I got the third version.
Omygosh, I just realized the best version has 5 refrigerators in the kitchen!
I still haven't had a chance to create an "actor" so that I get the same guy every try.
I'm learning that I should probably try different AI generators like the ones in the link below. SORA 2 vs VEO 2.1. There is also this concept of other websites that are used to control other generators? In the link the human who made the video mentions "Higgsfield" and uses it to create stills that inform his AI movies. I've also been getting links to a product called Nano Banana Pro that may be one of the latest creators.
Sora 2 is owned by Open AI and VEO 3.1 is owned by Google. I just figured that out.
Artlist.com is a company that has been advertising special effects to me for a couple of years when I look up answers to Davinci Resolve questions and they seem to also offer multiple services for AI like the Higgsfield element mentioned in the YouTube video below. I just figured that out as well. Maybe I will look into Artlist.com.
Here is the YouTube video that Compares two other AI Generators using the same prompts. It is two months old and I have seen newer ones with more products but this one was easier to follow. Special thanks to Atomic Gains for making this YouTube video! I hope that makes it alright for me to stick it on this page. I've watched it at least 3 times.

My plan is to keep exploring the AI medium until the old way of film making isn't an option for me.
Maybe I will be able to get a few more creative jobs before robots completely take over.
(Sorry about this font. My website builder is ancient. I should probably explore that as well.)
Here are some other AI clips that I have generated. My friend Lars made this prompt:
A wide shot of a Sasquatch in Hawaiian shirt surfing a wave on a longboard, camera zooms into a close up and the Sasquatchs face, and says "How You Like Me Now?"

Until Lars made this I hadn't realized that I could use dialogue. I love the wave and his voice and his look. Not sure why the water is so full of watermelon bits.
Here is the “AI clip” that I made for my son who was flying home for the holidays based on this prompt:
An over the shoulder shot of a young man getting on a big airplane looking for his seat but the plane is completely full with really good looking girls already sitting in all of the seats.

This one took only one try. Check out the baby arm coming out of the woman with the backpack. I didn't see it until a few days after I sent it to people. Never appreciating my teenage fantasies that I learned from my father, my son asked me to make one more realistic based on this prompt:
Medium shot of a young white man with brown hair sitting in the second to last row on a modern motorcoach writing a research paper on a laptop waiting for the bus to leave the station. It foggy outside.

This one took 4 tries. AI kept putting him on a train instead of a bus and it is still a little train-like. When I showed my dad he laughed at the airplane one and then asked who the guy on the train was.
I wanted to see what AI or just LTX could do with special effects. I envisioned a boy walking toward camera transforming into an older version of himself. I did 5 tries and never got what I wanted. I tried morphing instead of transforming. That didn't help. I tried to make his voice change as he got older. That didn't work either. So I took the best of the 5 and pitch changed his voice and then added my voice in post. My editing was still needed!
I definitely need an AI generator that can morph.
Here is the prompt of take 2.
Medium shot of a young boy aged about four years old walking toward camera on a suburban sidewalk. While he is walking he says, "I never really thought about who I wanted to be when I grew up. Then the boy morphs into a thirteen year old boy and says, " I guess I was just living life in the moment." Then the boy morphs into a twenty one year old young man and says, "Now, all I think about is wishing I could start over." There are no cars driving on the road.

Here is the first AI film I ever made. It took about three hours of generating single shots and then editing them together and adding music and voice over and a LTX studio® logo in Davinci Resolve®
Music by Ethan Wolf Eskin

So my buddies came over and we created some "elements" in LTX. We created a guy named Marc and a woman named Marta and a car named Buzz. Then we used them in two scenes that I cut together in Resolve®. This means I could make a whole movie with Marc and Marta. That is crazy.
